Early Childhood Center

THE EARLY CHILDHOOD CENTER is housed in a recently constructed building conceived to provide the ideal environment for a child’s academic and personal development. The Center is surrounded by a spacious and secure garden and playground area.

E.C.C. Classrooms

The colourful, luminous and spacious classrooms were designed to meet the specific demands of toddlers and small children and to fulfill the needs of an early childhood education. Classrooms are equipped with the latest and most up-to-date facilities and materials and have easy and direct access to outdoor recreational facilities.

E.C.C. Playground

The EARLY CHILDHOOD CENTER building is surrounded by a large fenced garden, especially designed to meet the needs of an ideal play and recreational area as well as to guarantee maximum safety standards. The garden is immersed in a vast wooded area where children are in constant contact with a natural environment.

Elementary & Junior High School Building

The Elementary and Junior High School Section, located in the main building of the compound, comprises three floors and was completely refurbished to accommodate the school.

Elementary & Junior High School Classrooms

Spacious and bright classrooms and up-to-date school materials and equipment have been selected to cater to the most demanding standards of education and to foster a close-knit and co-operative atmosphere.

Elementary & Junior High School Playground

The Elementary & Junior High School section is equipped with a brand-new, fenced playground, immersed in wooded greenery and equipped with volleyball and basketball courts and a mini soccer field. Students can engage in sports and recreational activities in a natural and safe environment.

Computer Lab

Our school is equipped with a computer lab in which every student, from the beginning of Elementary School, can learn the notions of modern information technology. JHS students can access Internt and e-mail in order to enrich their research projects and have a vast selection of software at their disposal.

Library

The Udine International School has a beautiful, well equipped library with reading and reference books in English, Italian, French and German. Children can borrow books for pleasure reading or for research.

Auditorium

The Istituto Tomadini is equipped with an Auditorium which can be used by students for theatre, school shows or for important ceremonies.

The Kitchen

The school lunches and snacks are prepared daily in our modern kitchen. The menu is conceived for school-aged children by a team of nutritionists to meet the demands of a well-balanced, nutritious diet. Each student is provided with a snack in the morning and a hot lunch served everyday. Smaller children are also also provided with a snack in the afternoon.

E.C.C. Cafeteria

The E.C.C. cafeteria is spacious, luminous and colourful where children are served hot meals prepared by the kitchen located in the building. The menu is prepared with organic produce (60%-70%) and is especially conceived to cater to the needs of small children. The menu varies everyday, is seasonal (Autumn/Winter and Spring/Summer) and based on a four-week cycle. A snack is provided at mid morning and in the afternoon.

Elementary & Junior High School Cafeteria

The Elementary & Junior High School cafeteria is located in the same building as the classrooms. Students are served meals especially prepared by our kitchen in a bright room adjacent to and with easy access from the classrooms. The menu is prepared with organic produce (60%-70%), varies everyday, is seasonal (Autumn/Winter and Spring/Summer) and based on a four-week cycle. A snack is provided at mid morning.

The Swimming Pool

The Istituto "Monsignor F. Tomadini" is equipped with a beautiful heated indoor swimming pool. Our students can enroll in courses organized by the Unione Nuoto Friuli after school hours. Group lessons are organized according to the age group and level of the children. Children can enrol starting from the age of three.

Gymnasium

The Udine International School has access to a large indoor gymnasium with numerous sports facilities. The gymnasium is used during physical education lessons and for indoor extra-curricular sports activities.

Soccer Field

The Tomadini compound includes a beautiful soccer field immersed in the quiet greenery of the compound.

Mini Soccer Field

The Elementary & Junior High School section is equipped with a mini soccer field.

Volleyball Court

The court is located in the quiet greenery of the Elementary & Junior High School playground area.

Basketball Court

This court is also located in the quiet greenery of the Elementary & Junior High School playground area.

The Monsignor F. Tomadini compound includes a vast parking area with numerous parking spots.

The UIS campus is located in the quiet greenery of The Monsignor F. Tomadini compound. The immaculately kept gardens and wooded area, nestled in a serene and natural environment, offer a tranquil setting close to the city center.
